For the launch of the Bonjour lamp, Flos commissioned five short animated stories — each interpreting the playful, irreverent character of the lamp through a different narrative. One episode features the lamp's designer, Philippe Starck, in an unexpected role.

Episode 1
Ah, l'amour!
Not a blind date, not a candlelit dinner. Is it love? Who knows — love is unpredictable, it brings together people who can't stand each other, or those from different continents, or those already spoken for. Sometimes it leaves and never comes back. A rooftop dinner, lit by Bonjour.

Episode 2
A True Adventure
Everyone to bed — the night is mine. My room is a spaceship and I'm a space cowboy, a galactic explorer, an interstellar pirate. I'll be the first to make contact with other life forms, I'll map the universe and walk on six new planets. Maybe seven. Now leave my room, I'm departing.

Episode 3
Would You Leave the Sea for Love?
Not a chance, sailor. On land I'd die of boredom. Mermaids live free in the sea, they know every dolphin, every whale, every manta ray. They have their refuges on the seabed, among shells and coral. Sometimes they surface to look at the stars — and that's when the sailors see them, beautiful and mischievous.
Episode 4
A Night in the Woods
Trees, stars, the sounds of nocturnal animals, a full moon, the glitter of snow, a bear. Afraid? No. The night in the woods is enchanted but a little cold. The best way to warm it up is to laugh — it activates around 80 different muscles — and then run, run a lot, especially with friends.
Episode 5
We love Philippe!
I was born on a summer night in Formentera. I came to life from a drawing and for a moment I felt like Pinocchio — but I quickly realized I have no nose and I'm far more beautiful. My father is Philippe Starck, a creative force who passes all his energy to me. I've learned to store it, so I can move freely and without wires.
